If you've watched Somebdy Feed Phil, there is a good reason they picked this place. It was amazing! And the service was impeccable, our server was so nice, even went out to buy a bottle of rum so that our friend who does not drink wine could have a rum and seven! We had several starters: Boges com Chutney de Coentros (chickpeas with onions & coriander), Achar (pickles), Chamuças de Carne (meat samosas), Bhajipuri (potato bhaji with puri), and the amazing Holy Burger com Ovo Escalfado (with poached egg) paired with a bottle of Lua Cheia. This was some of the tastiest food food I have ever had! The chutney was so flavourful! Highly recommend!
We came with friends and ordered quite a variety of dishes. Everything was delicious, though some were a bit spicy for European taste. The staff were very attentive and friendly. If you’re looking to discover new flavors, this is the place to be.
Excellent food and service. The samosa was crispy on the outside and full of flavor. The coriander chicken was tender and delicious. Highly recommend!
Perfect cozy restaurant, highly recommend. Holly burger is a must try bite, house wine was perfect, as well as the spicy tiger shrimp dish, and 11-something layer cake comes with an interesting story, tasting somewhere between pudding and cake. The staff and atmosphere were simply amazing, friendly, just perfect. My most memorable meal in Lisbon, don't miss it.
Authentic Goan food. Chutney was excellent. Portions are pretty large - we split two dishes between three people.
A hidden gem!! Everything we tried was delicious- and different. Maria was so sweet and helped with our order. Sry- no fish or seafood tonight but Boges com chutney, Bhajipuri, Holy Burger, Cafreal de Frango, and Xacuti were amazing. Sauces so good!! And so reasonable. If you want a casual, flavorful and international meal- don't miss Jesus e Goe!!
Walking around in Lisbon and after having watched "somebody feed Phil" we made our way here to have our lunch. Ordered bits of different dishes and all I can say is that everything tasted great. Spicy dishes still deliver amazing flavours and end with a bite heating you up slightly. Worth walking away from regular walking paths for sure and highly recommend.
